True Religion is it necessary?
RELIGION
Religion is defined as a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion, Muslim, Jewish religions and indigenous African religions and Satanism.
The most wide spread religions are Christianity which has split into several branches mainly Catholicism and protestants, then Muslim that has split into: Sunni, Shiite, Ahmadiyya and Druze factions.
However, questions arise as to which is the True religion. But why so many different and diverse religions?The only practical explanation to this:
Many religions have come up as a result of the desire for political power, prestige, and search for fame rather than a desire to please God.
It is of no surprise that as a result of this inclination for human satisfaction that religion is involved in such badness as child abuse, fraud, war, or terrorism.
This has led to people in search for true religion to wonder how religion has come about.
with most people in the current generation having been born and brought up to follow their parents’ religious beliefs some have come too question the existing beliefs due to their conscience.
This situation can be summarised using the imagery that one cannot go around randomly picking any religion. to join which will be like picking up a sweet found in a gutter then wiping off the dirt then eating it.
Many have been unable to come up with a permanent solution to this issue and have thus turned into Atheists.Others have decided to form their own churches and have them registered with the various governments according to the laws of the particular country resulting into an influx of churches all over with other people turning religion into a business.
True religion can be found only by research, meditation and serious consideration of the various different doctrines taught by each of the available religions in the world today.
This can be done by looking at the various Religion Research papers that have been written by people in search for true religion on their findings and others who study the various religions available.All these religions have their pros and cons.
The only religion that has come to be outstanding and seriously following its Teachings and doctrines is the Jehovah’s Witnesses who do not consider themselves as a religion but according to many have proved to be the true Christians.
So….. This raises another issue:
How can one Identify True religion and is Religion important?
All religions however have one common factor: they all believe in the existence of God and The Devil, The Constant struggle between good and bad.
The doctrines taught by these religions however have similarities in that there is rewarding of the good and eternal punishment for the evil doers.
True religion is essential in the sense that it satisfies the human curiosity as to how life came by, whether there is life beyond the grave and other issues as to the human soul.
thus when choosing a religion it is essential and vital that one does the necessary research before picking one that he/ she find agreeable with him/her.
