A Review Of Estee Lauder Pure White Linen Pink Floral
If you look forward to spring, Estee Lauder’s White Linen fragrances will let you experience the endearing freshness of the season in a bottle. Soft, lush and delicate florals emanate a beautiful symphony of dlowers that adds pizzaz to a woman’s femininity. The first White Linen perfume was introduced in the year 1978 and since then, variants of the original followed.
2009 marked the release of yet another White Linen flanker called Pure White Linen Pink Coral. Yes, it’s pink! It’s dainty, subdued and demure. The soft floral accords lets you savor the breezy afternoons with the sun peeking from the clouds. It’s one of those special days when the outdoors is too tempting to resist. This fragrance centers on the pink floral bouquet and for the crisp linen freshness, marine-like accords are infused. The notes are apple blossom, clear aldehydes, water fruits, pink peppercorns, Chinese berry mist, jasmine, pink peony, camellia flower, sweet pea, honeysuckle, cherry blossom, vanilla, heliotrope and sandalwood.
Sillage and longevity are better than average despite its sheer composition. The freshness lingers for hours after application which is not bad for a flanker. This perfume is a lovely skin scent – you have to be close to savor the fragrance.
Despite the fact the Pure White Linen Pink Floral is a rehash of the original; it doesn’t come off as boring. The notes are linear throughout but it is well-executed in this version. The similarity factor with the other White Linens is there but this is compensated by its longevity.
On another note, if you feel like trying out something tart-y with floral notes in the background, Pure White Linen’s Light Breeze is a good option. It has the same crisp White Linen freshness combined with a tinge of citrus accords. Sillage performs well as it stays for hours on the skin.
